I watched the anime and fell in love. I just had to read the manga after to get the real feel of the story. I was not disappointed at all. Such amazing art work and the story is to die for. Worth every penny!

Einfach genial
Ich glaube, bei kaum einem Manga wird so sehr über den Zeichenstil gesprochen, wie hier. Doch gerade weil er anders ist, mag ich ihn eigentlich total gerne. Klar, er ist nicht der Schönste, aber diese Welt ist einfach nicht auf Schönheit aus. Aber wer sich für den 13. Band interessiert, wird da eh seine Bedenken abgelegt haben. Denn die Story überzeugt einfach auf ganzer Linie.Hajime Isayama hat es, in meinen Augen, wirklich drauf, jedes Mal aufs Neue die Ideen der Leser, wo die Geschichte hingehen könnte, umzuwerfen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten bis endlich Band 14 erscheint.

Super Manga, schwacher Band
Die Rezension handelt von Band 13, KEINE genauen Inhaltsangaben:Gespannt habe ich auf Band 13 gewartet. Da Band 12 ein richtiger Knaller, waren meine Erwartungen natürlich hochgesteckt, die leider nicht erfüllt worden. Es wird viel geredet und wenig gehandelt, man erhält Informationen die man schon vorher kannte. Zudem kein einziger Titan (außer Eren). Aber ich hoffe mal dass der nächste Band wieder einschlägt wie ne Bombe

Sehr viel Hintergrund
Der aktuelle Teil bietet sehr viel Hintergrundwissen und Dialoge über viele Seiten. Action ist kaum vorhanden.Das Ende deutet aber einen actionlastigen nächsten Teil an.

Another fantastic installment in a fantastic series. Although the intrigue is nearly killing me, this book goes at least a little way to finally sort of theorizing an answer to at least one of the many intriguing questions which have been mystifying us since the start. However, if this series has one flaw it is the usage of the whole ‚lets rescue Eren for the millionth time‘ subplot, which is getting really old and I suspect is merely being used to plug gaps and stretch out the story prolonging the intrigue, since this bit has already been used so many times it doesn’t further the story at all. The moral and ethical dilemmas explored in this series never cease to engage and entertain, the mystery and intrigue with regard to the titans, the social organization of the setting and the individual’s backstories makes one compelled to read on and the action is well-illustrated, like the titan’s hilarious facial expressions.

You all know EXACTLY what scene I’m talking about. If you don’t, then buy this volume and find out lol.Anyways, I love where the manga is going, even if my favorite character does end up in emotionally compromising situations that could make or break him. This is my favorite volume in the series thus far. It focuses on the political uprising to overthrow the corrupt monarchy.What I especially like is seeing the dynamic between Levi and Hange. It’s been made clear that Levi doesn’t have the greatest speaking/social skills and his words come out in a harsher tone than he intends. Hange understands what Levi actually means to say and she translate his crude way of speaking.
